At InterSec, Inc., protecting your private data is a top concern. This privacy policy describes what kind of information we collect when you use the Site, how that information is used, and how you can control it.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide when filling out a contact form, requesting a download, using the chat on our site, or subscribing to communications, typically your name, business email address, company, phone (optional), and your message. We also collect standard server logs, and cookies and similar technologies record how you use the site, such as the pages you view, where you came from and your device type. Section 6 explains these tools and how to opt out.

2. How we use it

We use this information to:

• Respond to inquiries and deliver requested content
• Send relevant cybersecurity insights you've opted into
• Improve site performance and content based on aggregate usage patterns
• Meet legal, contractual, and compliance obligations

3. How we protect it

InterSec is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. We apply the same controls we recommend to our clients, encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, audited change management, and breach response procedures aligned with NIST SP 800-61.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it with third-party service providers (email delivery, analytics, advertising, CRM) only to the extent necessary to operate the site and respond to you. All providers are bound by data-processing agreements consistent with applicable regulations.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@intersecinc.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use essential cookies to run the site, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam. We also use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site. These are Google Analytics 4, Vercel Web Analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling. We use Apollo.io to learn which organizations visit our site.

We advertise on Google and Microsoft Bing. Google's and Microsoft's advertising tags help us measure which ads lead to inquiries, and let us show our ads to people who have visited our site before. Third-party vendors, including Google and Microsoft, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites. These advertising cookies let Google, Microsoft and their partners show you ads based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time. Use Google's Ads Settings, Microsoft's ad settings, or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
